Recession – Living in a Camper

Jim Urquhart | The Salt Lake Tribune Ron Hofmann (cq) of Salt Lake City returns a cart after loading food into camper on his truck Wednesday, December 2 2009 at the Northwest Neighborhood Center Food Pantry in Salt Lake City. Hofmann, who is 64, was laid off six months ago from a medical equipment repair company after he was injured on the job. He has no health insurance and found himself living in camper on the side of the road with no heat about three months ago. He has had to use the food bank for about a month now. The new numbers are in and Utah has once again broken a for food stamp use. In these tough economic times, more people are looking for help with food. 12/2/09
